GENERAL INFORMATION 

The 2020 Production Managers’ Seminar will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte, located in trendy Lower South End Charlotte, North Carolina. The all-suite hotel is near Uptown Charlotte, the thriving LoSo brewery district, and Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. A complimentary airport shuttle is provided by the Embassy Suites, as well as free parking. Drive, Uber or take a light rail train to access the many nearby local businesses, restaurants and attractions. Daytime high temperatures average around 78 degrees F, with average nighttime average lows around 55 degrees F. Dress for all meeting activities is business casual. FOOD AND BEVERAGES 

Be sure to enjoy the Made-to-order breakfast provided prior to the Bag School and General Session on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning. Tuesday’s evening Welcome Reception will be onsite at the hotel from 6-7:30pm. While the reception will include light food and beverages, most attendees will plan to have dinner afterward either at the full service restaurant at the hotel or offsite at one of a number of nearby restaurants. A full lunch buffet will be provided at the hotel after the General Session on Wednesday and prior to the plant tour. Wednesday evening’s Reception and Safety Awards Dinner will begin with a one hour cocktail reception, followed by a three-course plated dinner. Please advise us of any food allergies upon registration. 

TOUR OF WIKOFF COLOR CORPORATION INK MANUFACTURING PLANT 

Meeting attendees will have a chance to participate in a group tour of the Wikoff Color Corporation’s nearby ink manufacturing plant on Wednesday afternoon, May 13th. A brief overview of the tour and what we are going to see will be provided during the General Session that morning. Round-trip bus transportation will be provided from the hotel. Buses will load outside the hotel lobby entrance at 1:00pm. Personal Protective Equipment such as safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hats, etc. will be provided onsite if required. A safety briefing may precede the tour, which will be conducted in small groups both to answer questions and to ensure the safety of the participants. Tour participants should plan to wear closed, flat-heeled shoes and avoid dresses or loose-flapping shirts or pants. Use care with wedding bands, watches, ear rings, or other jewelry. You may be asked to leave such items in a secure location.
