Please know that PSSMA is closely monitoring the situation regarding the pandemic COVID-19 (coronavirus.) Our Production Managers’ Seminar scheduled for May 12-14 in Charlotte, North Carolina, is not yet postponed or cancelled, but this is a possibility considering rapidly changing developments with respect to the coronavirus situation. Some of your companies have imposed travel restrictions that would preclude you from attending. If this is the case, whether you have registered or not please let us know, as that will help us with our decision-making.
We will make decisions based on feedback from the membership, financial ramifications of holding or canceling the meeting, travel restrictions implemented by the federal government and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The health, safety and security of our participants are our top priorities and we will make our decision accordingly. We expect to know much more within a couple of weeks.
Should the meeting proceed as planned, we intend to honor the early discounted registration fee for everyone, provide full refunds for those who cannot attend and will not charge credit cards until after April 1st.
